Dimensions of Springs

With this app it is possible to dimension common compression, extension and torsion springs and calculate their parameters such as geometrical dimensions, wire diameter, spring rate, spring force or torque and stresses.

One quite nice use of this app is that when there is bunch of "unknown" springs on the floor the spring force as a function of displacement i.e. the spring characteristics can be solved for each one to find a suitable one for use.
